Owasso is a family town through and through from the organizations put in place to support our kids to the local businesses who go out of their way to show love and kindness to their community.
Custom Maid is an Owasso centered cleaning service that you might not consider to be one of these businesses. Custom Maid, located 7720 Owasso Expressway and has been donating time and money to local charities since 2012.
Tresha McCarty, the owner of Custom Maid, has told us about the charity cases she holds dear to her heart. McCarty has been disappointed by how much of the charity events Custom Maid is involved in have since shut down due to Covid-19. But, that has not stopped her. This June, Symphony in the Park will be hosting its charity event online! And you can bet that Custom Maid will still be participating in the event.
Focused on the Owasso Community, Custom Maid donates to the Owasso Community Resource Center and even provides medical coverage for cancer patients for up to four months!
“We get attached to those patients. We get to be a part of helping the community. We get really attached to these patients,” says McCarty. What makes Custome Maid different than most big companies is how its employees care about the people in their community and that extends to their clients.
“We like to have a family-orientated feel, we get to know them on a more personal level. We get familiar with their likes and the things important to each client.”
To make sure their clients are getting the best from them. Custom Maid buys their cleaning products from an environmentally safe company, Better life products, based out of St.Louis. These cleaning products were chosen for being biodegradable, pet-friendly, and made out of plants instead of harsh chemicals.
Custom Maid continues to plan for the future and hopes to participate in more charity events this year once public places re-open. For more information about Custom Maid, check out their website at CustomMaidOK.com.
